
SA2 rides high on many fan’s ‘best of’ lists, and is definitely worth a re-buy at its current price. There’s a lot more fluff in Sonic Adventure 2 compared to its predecessor (I mean, mechs? Treasure hunting? Cam’aaahhhhn), but in terms of game mechanics this sequel is a lot tighter – the Sonic and Shadow stages are still a total joy to play. If you had a Dreamcast as a kid, this is worth it for the nostalgia factor.
